I will do the same for you! Thanks!!!) Hi folks The last video was about ripping and burning so this one is about playing emotional and from your heart. Intro: some minor sweep arpeggios about an Yngwie Malmsteen backingtrack. 1: e-bow playing about an Dire Staits backingtrack.Try this at home.This is really fun. There are so many guitar sounds you can use.Open your mind. 2.a sweet little guitar melody about an Ionian chordprogression. Here i switch the guitars for different sounds. 3.just some fast picking stuff for a different texture -Malmsteen runs and Gary Moore major 7th arpeggios: check End of the world 4. very smooth and relaxed playing over an Randy Rhoads(natural minor) backingtrack. this one is about playing without a net. It's sometimes dirty and not perfect but i feel the notes. That's what i want. Feeling the notes. I don't care about anything else. 5.Here I'm going back to the main melody and added some runs. All that stuff was improvised.It is just an impression of one day in my life. When i played this melody i was thinking about all the friends who supported me about the last year. Thanks so much. Intro: Some string skipping licks in the style of Paul Gilbert or Vinnie Moore Here i play on an ESP Kamikaze Jam 1: Heavy Phrygian in F# I just noticed that i never had a video with the phrygian scale just with phrygian major so here it is.... I love the b9 and the dark sound Jam 2: Here i jam over a Steve Vai backing track and try to play as simple a possible. Steve was always a big influence It's for the first time i did a recording with the Steve Vai universe guitar.....This guitar looks pretty crazy:) Jam 3 "Testing an yellow Ibanez Jem" Here i shred on a Friday Morning over a Malmsteen backing track very extreme but the original improvisation was even more extreme so i had to cut it:) Nothing is planned or practiced i just enjoy playing the guitar :) To end the video just a little melody with delay to calm down Hope you like it and have fun. yours Volker

Thanks. check my guitar collection www.myspace.com A little bit of a strange mix but that's the way i like it. in the beginning i play some arpeggios in the style of my favorite guitar players Becker and Friedman. They opened so many doors for me when i was young. I started listening to strange japanese music and also modern classical composers. I know some people hate this style but i don't care.I just play. On the other hand there is a player i almost forgot about.David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. In the last year i was non stop working on my guitar teaching so at one day i was so exhausted.There i remembered that i always loved the solos and the mood of this great band and listened back. This was just great and it helped me to get relaxed again. hope you like the fast and the slow. See you all my friends!
