This is a video showing my Mac Pro 1.1 being upgraded from Dual Dual core Xeon 5150 @ 2.66Ghz to Dual Quad core Xeon 5355. The improvement over the quad core set up is amazing - well worth the price. I paid £250 for the processors, £10 for the Torx 15 screw driver and £10 for the thermal paste. Over all the upgrade took less than 10 minutes! - I never see my cores go above 40% with most work I do. Next plan is to upgrade the graphics card to a 5770. Hope you enjoy the music in the background - made in Logic Pro my myself. i just wanted to show people how easy it is to do - none of this 10 different videos nonsense - quick and easy! Running Metro 2033 on my new 5870 1GB. Please note that the performance is much better without the screencap program. Resolution 1920x1080, everything maxed out. Performance (without the screencap program running in the background) is very smooth. Machine specs: Mac Pro, Dual Xeon 5150 @ 2.66 Ghz (4 cores total), 8GB Ram, ATI 5770 1GB, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit
