Another review, this time of Jicky, from the house of Guerlain. Created in 1889 by Aimé Guerlain and bearing his 15-year-old nephew Jacques' nickname, Jicky is the world's oldest perfume in continuous production yet still today considered by many as being one of the greatest, a semi-oriental fougère.
The very first fragrance from the house of Guerlain! Launched in 1853, it predates the first modern perfume, Jicky, by 36 years. Arguably the longest continually produced scent ever. But also one of the shortest lasting, so be forewarned!
