Concert study n° 3 in D flat major nicknamed "Un sospiro" (= a Sigh) by Franz Liszt. Piano : William Wolfram. The "Three Concert Studies" were published in 1849. The last of the three, Un sospiro is based on the melody that has appeared in all the studies, shared between the hands, and accompanying it with arpeggios of mounting intensity, leading to an ending of great serenity.

* * * The "Marche Nationale Mexicaine" (1849) by Henri Herz (1803--1888) was the first Mexican Anthem, but it was quickly discarded. I am sorry for the MIDI file, but I couldn't find a recording of the piece.
