Emmy-Leigh Maryrose Cole Emmy came into our world on July 7, 2006 and went to heaven on March 24, 2007 She was a victim of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) She was a tiny little baby but never the less admired by everyone who saw her. Before bed each night, Emmy's mom would hum to her a song that had been past down from generation to generation and rock her to peaceful sleep. "Some people only dream of angels... I've held one in my arms" - Libby St. Pierre. She was a happy baby, who would squeal out of excitement, a special girl who was addicted to Baby Einstein movies. Mikaila and Mariah, Emmy's two sisters, were always picking her up and dressing her up silly. To Emmy's benefit her older sisters would often sneak her popsicles and cookies while mom was not looking. Just a baby, yet, allowing herself to only wear pink, she already had the little princess part down to an art. As mascot of Auburn Youth Cheering, Emmy's sisters taught her cheering moves and her screams rivalled that of any other cheerleaders'. She was her Pepere Louly's and Memere Jeannie's pride and joy. Spoiled with kisses from Memere Jeannie and learning about birds on nature walks with Pepere Louly, Emmy was a blissful little girl.
