The same words have been used by Renato Montagner and his team Changedesign to start thinking at the definition of the design of the bottle and for the packaging of the last born in Miyake house, L'eau d'Issey Pour Homme Sport. The challenge has been to build a bottle able to speak a sport language in an elegant way. So to face a new code made of contrasts between colors and materials, in order to have a new image representing seduction and neatness, energy and strength. A lot of steps needed to the style definition: a first research around the blue color -- the color of extreme sport like surf, kyte surf, and sailing, another study about the performances of machines and sports. And then an examination about the potentialities and the mixtures of materials that had carried to the choice of the gray glass for the bottle, of a special lasered rubber for the cap and of cromium plated metal for the booster. An essential, but bold, graphic language has been chosen to close the project. As a result a perfect balance between techology and design
