Sharadha meets Saravanan and asks him to postpone his marriage till Soundarya gets married to somebody. Saravanan accepts. When Saravanan conveys this to Meenakshi, she also accepts. She also adds that it is their duty to get a new life for Soundarya before they get married. Meanwhile Rajasekar speaks to them as a cross talk on the phone, and he yells at them for deciding to postpone their marriage. He also tells them that he would take care of Soundarya's marriage. Thamizh puts his phone for charging the battery and when every time the message tone beeps he rushes to the phone and he sees it. He expects messages from Soundarya but he feels disappointed when it does not happen. Sudha happens to see this and she informs Meenakshi that Thamizh is being with his phone all the time and Meenakshi denies to believe her. To confirm this, they decides to send SMS between each other and to look for Thamizh's reaction for it. As soon as the message tone beeps Thamizh rushes to his phone and Sudha makes fun of Thamizh for this and he pretends it to be nothing. Moreover Thamizh calls his friend and asks him to buy a new phone for him. Meenakshi finds a drastic change in Thamizh. Sudha asks Thamizh if he is in love with anybody.
