Incredible Super Fine High Definition closeup footage of Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200 taxiing and taking off from runway 35 at Cork Airport, Ireland. This is the only aircraft in the Aer Lingus fleet which carries the retro scheme and it is to mark the 75th Anniversary celebrations of the airline in 2011. The actual scheme seen here was used by the airline in the 1960's. This flight was departing for London Heathrow as flight EI722 (Callsign : "Shamrock Seven Two Two" and departed at 16:02 local time (GMT). This A320-200 is registered as EI-DVM (Serial No.: 4634) and was delivered to Aer Lingus on 25th March 2011. As with all Aer Lingus aircraft it is named after an Irish saint. This aircraft is called "Saint Colman". This footage also includes Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications audio between the control tower and the aircraft. This footage was filmed at Lios Cross near the runway 35 threshold with a Samsung HMX-H200 camcorder.
EI-DVM taxis to and takes-off from R10 on a sunny Sunday morning. This was the first commercial flight for the Aer Lingus retro jet, and also the inaugural flight for the new Dublin - Stuttgart route. See it in black & white here... www.youtube.com

Full HD footage of this A320 Retrojet which celebrates 75 Years of Aer Lingus (1936-2011). She is one of Aer Lingus' newest A320-200s and first flew on 25th March 2011, and is registered as EI-DVM.
