This is an LGB Amtrak Genesis that I retrofitted with an LGB 65003 Sound Unit, an LGB 55027 Decoder, and an LGB Smoke Generator for Only Trains in Buffalo,MN.
Here is an LGB 2055 White Pass diesel with original LGB 65003 diesel sound installed. A capacitor kit was added to eliminate the sound from cutting out when run at slow speed or when the engine was stopped. It's not a defect in the sound. It's just the way LGB decided to do things which I did not like. The installation was done by Silvergate Manufacturing.
Piano roll midi file,reproduced on a Roland M-GS64 SoundCanvas module. These piano roll midi files were created by some wonderful folks from (International Association of Mechanical Music Preservationists). Whom, without their diligent and tireless work this music would surely have been lost.
