Art is culture, culture is art. From downtown to uptown there are endless stories that fit into are format. Everything from downtown LA Graffiti artist, to celebrity New York art openings, to the up coming video director that 'Definitely likes to ROCK HARD'. Today there are younger and trendier interests in the art world. This show will be in an "Entertainment Tonight" format, quick cuts full of hip information. People are unaware that the multi-billion dollar business of art is full of trend setters, icons, celebrities that collect, and Rock Stars that have openings all over the world; ex: Marilyn Manson. There is no other program like this- thirty minute weekly magazine show, Art Talk. When I realized I would love to see a television show in this format with this information, I knew there must be thousands of others that do as well. Mainstream America is just not exposed to the all the elements of the art world; what probably pops in most minds is the perception of old rich people holding up bid sticks at auctions.
