Initial tests after motor tuning on a Granite Device. Attached a 600 Watts servo with 1,4 Nm continuous torque and 4.1 Nm peak. Granite Devices is connected to a USBCNC V5B controller and now runs 18.7 meters per minute and has an acceleration factor of 1500mm/sec2. More at www.saarloos.net
Yushin robot mounted on auxiliary frame for blow-molding application. Robot performs removal of part. Robot uses servo wrist to perform a multiple gate cut sequence. Robot then re-picks the part for final placement on an indexing conveyer. Pre-lubricated sealed bearings and absolute encoders standard. Video is of a Servo-controlled Patch unit on a FL Smithe RA 600 envelope machine. EMP's servo is being used to insert a pre-printed leaflet intime with the envelope. Video also shows the EMP system testing out a splice unit. EMP is able to auto-correct its way back into register after a splice.
