Here's the famous sweet child o' mine solo recorded with my 2005 gibson les paul standard and my brand new blackstar HT-5. This amp is incredible ! I recorded the whole thing through my audiophile 192 sound card with magix music maker 16. I didn't have any wah-wah for this song, anyway, i thought that it would be interesting to have a shot at it without the pedal
www.rumpelstiltskinpickups.com Playing some licks through a Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue. Its really a nice sounding amp. Great cleans and reverb. The first part of the video is a home built Telecaster - USA custom guitars Neck and Body(Thanks Tommy!) The amp settings for the video are mostly 5 treble and 5 bass, and the reverb goes from 2.5 to 4, except on the surf part which is 10. The volume is at 3,4 and 5 most of the time. The breakup parts are about 6-7 on the volume. I play an MIM strat for the second part of the video. The amp settings are as described above. I used one SM57 as shown in the photo. Straight into an M-audio DMP-3, into an Audiophile 192 on my PC. No effects were used on the mix. Sorry for the playing, Im a bit of a slacker when it comes to practice!
Track 1 off the US 12" LP Single release of "Puttin' On The Ritz" by Taco, extended 6:05 cut. 1. Puttin' On The Ritz This was an analog capture from a Rega Planar 2 (P2) turntable with and Ortofon OM20 Super cartridge. The capture card was an M-Audio Audiophile 192 at 24-bit, 192kHz. The resulting raw WAV was boosted 6.5dB, and resampled/bit-depth down to 16-bit, 44khz. The record was sealed when I bought it for one dollar! 26 years in the plastic, and delivered to you via youtube. I put the video up as HD so the sound would automatically be in beautiful stereophonic sound, with high bitrate. Enjoy this really clean extended version! Best version!
